ArtLink Headquarters Interior
An open-concept workspace design that translates ArtLink’s fluid brand identity into an architectural environment using curvilinear zoning.

problem
The architectural challenge was translating ArtLink's fluid, 2D brand identity into a functional 3D workspace without reverting to isolating cubicles or a chaotic open plan. The space needed to physically foster the community connectivity promised by the brand while housing distinct programs like ceramics, painting, and textiles.
solution
I rejected rigid barriers in favor of freestanding curvilinear walls that organically guide circulation and zone the five core programs. By incorporating communal features like in-ground conversation pits and built-in alcove benches, the architecture itself acts as a conduit for connectivity, forcing diverse artists to cross paths and collaborate.

Translating my own branding work into a spatial environment, I led the interior architecture and space planning for the headquarters. I designed the floor plan to eliminate rigid barriers, employing curvilinear walls to define the gallery, studio, and office zones. I also detailed specific communal features, such as the conversation pits and built-in seating, to physically engineer the social interaction central to the organization's goals.
